you learn to live intimately with the phantoms
co-habiting your body -
making themselves heard
scuttling between the uninhibited spaces
in-between eye sockets and day-mares
where your mind-children have once slept,
now stirred by their lives becoming real
their ink-blood weeping onto the pages,
into the material world.
they have taught you
to create a balance between the frame of your mind
and the bones
and the truths.
